This last weekend I finally did a project that I have been wanting to do for a long time: sew a sink skirt. I had been tired of seeing the kitty litter out in the open in our only bathroom, where guests also had to look at it. In our little house it's the only place for the litter and as such, I had to find a way to hide it!

So much nicer! If there's one thing I'm glad I put the time into learning, it was learning how to sew. It is such a useful skill and can save quite a bit of money too, which is very important to us now that we are living on one income!
